The other day I checked out the Capsule tradeshow to see if any brands were doing blogworthy things. I found a few things worth seeing.

whhhhat that is what you think it is! in an oyster!. tee by Rxmance

ring by Luke Satoru. A really cool ring of a skunk’s skull, the jaw is hinged too. check out his site for more.

bow ties by Timo Weiland. Very nice guys at this brand. they also had this killer perforated white leather tank top but since it was white the pics didn’t come out too great.

Timberland won my fav table award, they had this guy making shoes right on the spot!

This was the one thing that I saw that I would spend my hard earned money on. This tote by Assembly New York can be worn as a regular xl size tote or as a backpack, I want I want!

In my mind this unicorn belt is being held captive at TopShop where she wishes on the stars every night for me to come rescue her from that prison humans call a “retail store”.

While browsing the OAK NYC online store, I remembered Another Fashion Interpreter’s post on stacking men’s watches & chunky metal bracelets. Keith has a great eye for detail in styling so I’m sure he would approve of this watchless watch band bracelet that would be perfect for layering ur wrist from Oak’s in-house line A.OK

Metal watchless watch band, $32 can be purchased HERE

This past weekend while in Williamsburg I went to go check out Brooklyn Artists & Fleas. It’s a really cool flea market concept where local vintage collectors, jewelry designers and artists can rent a table for the weekend, gain some exposure and sell their products. I wasn’t too impressed by the vintage goods, I’m more of a salvation army vintage shopper, but I more than impressed by one of the jewelry designers I saw. As I attempt to start up my own jewelry line, It is very inspiring to see people taking their passion for jewelry and building a career out of it.
The picture above was from the VERA MEAT table. I actually came across her website a few weeks ago and have been meaning to make a post about the designs. VERA MEAT has to be the most creative and original jewelry line that I’ve seen in a while.

Taken from the VERAMEAT website…
“Each piece of VERAMEAT jewelry mirrors a self-sufficient life form with a sculptural presence. Hand-crafted in New York City from such fine materials as ecologically sound recycled silver and pure 14-25k gold, VERAMEAT designs are artfully refined contemporary heirlooms.
VERAMEAT is Vera Balyura, a teller of winding tales in search of the extraordinary. Born in Ukraine, she recalls woodcarving with her grandfather, horseback riding in Utah & moving to New York to be a high fashion model all before the age of 14. Each design reflects a personal (yet universal) inspiration—
from traveling the world, making music, maritime ny sagas, botanical structures of light, futuristic visions of rogue spacemen in beer, and before history.”
After browsing the site, here are my favs…

The “Everybody’s Talkin” two-finger ring, $100.
The “Terrier Face” ring, $110

The “Paint The Town Red” Necklace, $110
Be sure to check out her site HERE, she even has a dinosaur eating chicken ring! Maybe one day she can design a VERAMEAT X Dinosaurs In New York ring!
Word on the street is men’s label Yoko Devereaux is going out of business and having their liquidation sale tuesday 6/30 until thursday 7/2. The sale will be at the Brooklyn location as well as the online store.

I checked out the online store today and found this basic tank for only $5.

I might make my way down to the bklyn store tommorrow to check it out and pay my respects to the brand. The store is located on 388 broadway btwn Keap & Rodney st in Williamsburg bklyn.

I may not be able to afford anything from the Christopher Kane Ape print collection, but this $6 ring may be enough to satisfy my gorilla craving. look for it on ebay.
