On this episode of Confessions Of a Window Dresser, foam core! And lots of it. For those familiar with working with foam core knows that it is a great inexpensive way to make a display but will also make you feel like shooting yourself after cutting and gluing it for hours. This Bergdorf Goodman display features mannequins walking foam core dogs that are very intricate, especially the ones with individually cut fur. I don’t believe these were 100% cut by hand, some parts were most likely laser cut but I still appreciate the amount of work put into these little guys.

I didn’t get anything from the H&M Comme des Garçons collection last year and it still bothers me to this day. I loved the stuff but hardly thought it was worth waiting a hour plus in line for, so I never got my black & white poka dot fix.
So instead I found this scarf from the chinaman selling $5 “pashminas” on the streets of soho. It satisfies my drug habit for the time being.
EDIT: I just realized the silhouette of my outfit looks like one of these girls.
Squid is one of my favorite foods.

I was working a couple of shows this Fashion Week so I made it my goal to find & meet BryanBoy since I knew he was in town for the shows via his twitter. I missed him by a second one day as I saw him leave the tents so I was soooo excited to spot him again on the last day of Fashion Week.
Someone needs to give me lessons in how to pose for pictures..I always look like such a tard. And Yes I wore my old skool Dennis Rodman Bulls jersey to attend a show at the tents… and No I don’t know why I do the things I do.

I also spotted Karla of Karla’s Closet in the tents while she was getting her pic snapped by many other followers. Fashion bloggers seemed to be more important than celebs this fashion week.
